Le caratteristiche architettoniche rileggono in parte quelle dell’esistente, nei materiali, nelle dimensioni e nel modo in cui si confrontano con il verde che lo circonda ma, al contempo, si evolvono in un linguaggio contemporaneo e funzionalmente nuovo in grado di rispondere alle esigenze di nuove forme di didattica, all’opportunità di costruire un edificio multifunzionale, aperto e vivo, nel proporsi come volano per un processo di riqualificazione urbana in chiave moderna, sostenibile e integrata. La scuola è formata da tre volumi a pianta e maglia regolare uniti tra loro da due elementi secondari. I tetti a doppia falda, chiaro richiamo ad una architettura tradizionale, familiare ai più piccoli, strizza l’occhio alla contemporaneità grazie ai rivestimenti e alla semplicità delle linee dei dettagli costruttivi.

The architectural characteristics partly reflect those of the existing, in the materials, in the dimensions and in the way they confront the green that surrounds it but, at the same time, evolve into a contemporary and functionally new language able to respond to the needs of new forms of teaching, to the opportunity to build a multifunctional building, open and alive, in proposing itself as a driver for a process of urban redevelopment in a modern, sustainable and integrated key. The school consists of three volumes with a plan and regular mesh joined together by two secondary elements. The double pitched roofs, a clear reference to a traditional architecture, familiar to the little ones, winks at contemporaneity thanks to the cladding and the simplicity of the lines of construction details.
